The Solution Sprint is powered by Women in Hospitality United, an organization dedicated to fostering leadership and championing the equitable advancement of all people.
Who should apply?
We seek to cast a wide net, with the goal of attracting a diverse group of individuals working across all levels and positions within the food space, in addition to professional services that may benefit Sprint Teams (i.e. design, communication, user experience, legal or other technical skills). The application deadline HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO August 31st and selected projects will be announced on September 10th.
Solution Sprint Projects
Applicants are asked to identify a specific challenge facing the hospitality industry and their proposed solution to that challenge. The goal of the Solution Sprint is to support the development of projects and policies that set new standards for equity, accountability, transparency, and workplace culture. Applications for Solution Sprint Projects are open to individuals who identify as female or gender non-binary.
Solution Sprint Project proposals will be submitted for a blind evaluation by our Selection Committee, and winners will be announced on September 10th.

We encourage all interested parties to submit an application to join us as Sprint Team Members. Sprint Team Members are asked to identify their unique experiences, background, or perspective, and commit to a full day of problem solving. Applications for Sprint Team Members are open to everyone.
Team members will be sorted and matched with the Solution Sprint Project that best fits their background and interest area. Selected team members will be notified by September 10th.
